Near-Earth Asteroid 2014 JO25 will fly safely past Earth on 19 April 2017, 12:24 UTC, at a distance of about 1.8 million kilometers(1.1 million miles), or about 4.6 times the distance from Earth to the Moon. The video presents its orbit on closest approach, 2014 JO25 imaged by NASA’s Goldstone Solar System Radar in California’s Mojave Desert and 2014 JO25 imaged by National Science Foundation’s Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico.
